Guide to body building supplements
Due to the current popularity of Body building/Body shaping, we are constantly being asked about supplements & contest preparation.
We are being asked:
- Which supplements are best?
- When should I use supplements?
- Why should I use them?
- How much should I take?
Fairly basic questions one would think, however, quality, quantity & timing are everything during contest preparation.
I have come up with some popular combinations that we suggest individuals incorporate into their programmes over a period starting from 12 weeks (3 months) out.
I wish to point out at this time that not all of these suggestions or "supplement stacks" have created equal results in all that have tried them - everyone is different. However, 12 years of experience with Body building/Body shaping athletes along with levels of success from regional through to international titles have led to the following examples.
Note: There will be a brief explanation on the role played of each dietary supplement recommended at the "introduction" stage of this programme.
